Sharon originally received the Friendship Ball as a gift from a close
friend. She thought it was such a precious gift because it is an ornament
that is traditionally passed back and forth as the occasion arises
(birthdays, holidays, etc.) by friends, sisters, mothers and daughters
through the years. Perhaps it will be returned with special chocolates
inside, or jewelry, potpourri. It is a sweet, sentimental, enduring
gift to fill this friendship ball and pass it back and forth for many
